We’re still here

I know it’s been awile.  Infact, it’s been so long that I can’t remember how to post pictures!  Scott is out of town, but when he gets back I’ll have him show me again.  Kian and I have had lots of fun together.  I enjoyed my first full week as a stay-at-home mom.  He is just precious and full of smiles.  He loves to throw rocks in the creek, wrestle, stir whatever I’m cooking, and copy what people say.  Today I counted “one” and he said “two” and climbed into his crib all himself!  He also says “pee” on his own.  It is pretty funny to hear that in his little voice!  This week we went to the zoo, the farmers market (where I discovered that Kian loves kettle corn… but who doesn’t?), the park, and we took atleast one walk every day.  We have also had two people look at our townhouse (it is for sale for those of you who don’t know).  It has been a challenge getting the house completely spotless all by myself while Kian explores everything.  Sometimes I feel like my efforts are fruitless – especially when I am putting things away in one cupboard and see Kian throwing tupperware out of another!  Somehow we have managed to be ready and out the door before the people come to look though.  That is nothing short of a miracle!  Apparently it is a tough time to sell, but we know it will happen.  We lowered our price and are now getting some bites.  Our target move date to Bend, OR is August.  I’m sorry to those of you who we were never able to have over!  I posted a virtual tour of our house so you can see it though.  And know you’re always welcome to visit us in Bend!
